  • Ingredients

    • 1 can (10.2 oz) Pillsbury® Grands!® Homestyle buttermilk biscuits
    • 1 1/3 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    • 2 cans (18 oz each) Progresso™ Recipe Starters™ creamy roasted garlic with chicken stock cooking sauce
    • 2 1/2 cups diced deli rotisserie chicken
    • 1 package (12 oz) frozen mixed vegetables
  • Directions

    1. Heat oven to 350°F. Place biscuits on cookie sheet as directed; flatten slightly. Bake as directed--except sprinkle top of each biscuit with 1 tablespoon cheese when 2 minutes of bake time are left.
    2. Meanwhile, in 2-quart saucepan, heat cooking sauce, chicken and frozen vegetables to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, stir in remaining cheese until melted.
    3. Split biscuits. Place bottoms of biscuits in shallow bowls; spoon sauce mixture over each. Place biscuit tops over chicken mixture.

      Oh no! What's wrong?

      • We didn't catch that,
why don't you give it another try.
      Thank you for your report.
The people who are complaining about this recipe, or the creamy garlic starter being "bland" or not good do not know how to cook. You have to tweak recipes like this. Add some pepper, and onion, or other spices you like. My family and I really enjoyed this one, of course after I tweaked it a bit. :-)

Is now a staple favorite at our house. I use switch between basil parmesan and garlic sauce and leave of the cheese. Yum we love it!

Couldn't eat it. Ended up giving to our dogs. Too strong with garlic and VERY salty. Big disappointment.

I had this in my cupboard for a while. Last night I used left over rotisserie chicken with this sauce. It was very good. My roommate and I liked it better than our Alfredo sauce! I will try some of the other recipes for this sauce.

Very underwhelming. Very bland. Needs some spicing up. Added lots of pepper and some onion powder. I used some milk to cut the salt, at the recommendation of other reviews, about 3/4 cup.

Bland and very salty. Was quick to make but I'll pass on buying this one again.

Not so good. I like the mushroom, but this mix tasted bad. I used the recipe for chicken pot pie, and didn't like it.

This was an okay dinner - it was salty for my taste, and quite rich. Next time, I would dilute the sauce's salt and fat content with some milk.

This was really bad, really bland and tasted just gross. My husband and I are not picky, but we threw this in the trash. i was really surprised too because we've used the 3-cheese sauce several times and liked it each time. Not so with the garlic - I will not be buying it again.
