Creamy Orzo Meatball Bowls

  • Ingredients

    • 2 bags (10 oz each) Cascadian Farm® frozen broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and zucchini, thawed, drained*
    • 1 can (18 oz) Progresso™ Recipe Starters™ creamy three cheese cooking sauce
    • 1/2 cup Progresso® chicken-flavored broth (from 32-oz carton)
    • 1 cup uncooked orzo or rosamarina pasta (6 oz)
    • 20 frozen cooked meatballs (about 1 1/2 inches in diameter)

    Garnishes, If Desired

    • Shredded Asiago or Parmesan cheese
  • Directions

    1. In 12-inch nonstick skillet; heat vegetables, cooking sauce, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper and the broth to boiling. Stir in pasta and meatballs. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to low.
    2. Cover; cook 13 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until most of the liquid has been absorbed and pasta is tender. Sprinkle with cheese.

      Yes this was easy. Husband cooked it up while I was sick but nether of us were impressed. We wont be making this again. Can't really explain what we didn't like about it, it was just very bland.
