

Sweet & Spicy Mac and Cheese
Traditional mac and cheese with a spicy twist.

- Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 8-inch square (2-quart) baking dish with cooking spray.
- Cook pasta as directed on package; drain.
- Meanwhile, in 3-quart saucepan, melt 1/4 cup butter over medium heat. Add garlic and flour; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until garlic is soft. Slowly stir in milk; beat with whisk until smooth. Heat over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes or until just coming to a boil. Add cheeses, pepper flakes, salt and pepper; heat and beat until melted. Stir in pasta.
- In small bowl, mix bread crumbs and 1 tablespoon melted butter.
- Pour pasta mixture into baking dish. Sprinkle with bread crumb mixture. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned and heated through.
- 8 oz uncooked medium pasta shells (about 2 1/4 cups)

- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 8 oz sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded (2 cups)
- 8 oz Kraft™ Velveeta™ cheese product, cubed (1 1/2 cups)
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup Progresso™ sweet & spicy panko crispy bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
